by a function, or by a set of ‘best fit’ lines. The functions and/or
lines may be linear or quadratic, and the calculations are always done
in relation to the variable axis.
The program will find intersects, derivative points, and create a
decent graph for plotting. I also designed it to plot any relationship
that you define in one (or more) of the input dialog boxes. The
program has a handy’slope’ feature, which lets you define a line that
is best fit to the data, and the program will adjust the data to fit
the line. You can also force a best fit line with a ‘linear’ option.
You can get information about the best fit line (slope, y-intercept,
etc) by a ‘Data Information’ dialog. The ‘Data Information’ dialog
gives you a graph of the data on the x-axis and y-axis, and you can
click on the graph to get more information about the line.
You can get information about the best fit line by the ‘Summary’
dialog, which displays more information, such as the best fit line’s
